Review

I’m re reading this since the new volume is coming out and I don’t remember a lot of it. I love it as much as I loved it the first time.

The art is gorgeous and the cast is so diverse. While I’m really invested in Seiji and Nicholas, I also want to know more about the other characters in the book. Especially Aiden, Harvard and Bobby.

I love enemies to lovers and they are also roommates!! I’m also a fan of sports romance but I barely know anything about fencing. It is interesting though.

Definitely recommend it!!

Release Date: January 15, 2019

Page Count: 112 pages

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Synopsis

Nicholas Cox is determined to prove himself in the world of competitive fencing, and earn his place on the Kings Row fencing team, alongside sullen fencing prodigy, Seiji Katayama, to win the right to go up against his golden-boy half-brother.

Tryouts are well underway at King’s Row for a spot on the prodigious fencing team, and scrappy fencer Nicholas isn’t sure he’s going to make the grade in the face of surly upperclassmen, nearly impossibly odds, and his seemingly unstoppable roommate, the surly, sullen Seiji Katayama. It’ll take more than sheer determination to overcome a challenge this big!

Review

We get more fencing and it is the second day of try outs. It’s a fun and very fast read. Pretty sure this is a slow burn ad the romance development is happening very slowly.

We get to know a bit more about Seiji, who seemed so unflappable in the 1st volume. But he isn’t and I enjoyed seeing that.

I’m loving Harvard and Aiden and I think they’ll break my heart. I adore their friendship. They are so supportive.

Also Nicholas annoying Seiji? I’m living for it!!

Review

I love this series! We finally have the fencing team! This volume has the most development yet and it is my favourite out of all three.

I’ve grown attached to the characters. All of them. I wish it was longer but I’m really looking forward to the upcoming graphic novel!!

I can’t wait to see more of Seiji and Nicholas. Their friendship is just beginning and I can’t wait to see more! All of them are so cute and this series is just adorable.
