My Top 10 Books 2019

I’m excited to show you my top 10 favourite books that I’ve read this year. I’ve read a lot of awesome books this year (around 120) and it was not easy to pick 10. These are my personal favourites and are not in any particular order.

Unspoken Vow  by Eden Finley

Eden Finley is one of my favourite authors and this book is simply amazing. I love both the books in this series but Anders and Brody are simply mindblowing. While this book makes it to top of Eden’s books, I do have to mention her other books: Hat TrickFinal Play and  Fake Boyfriend Breakaways

Fog City series  by Layla Reyne

This series is a masterpiece. The mystery, action and romance are out of this world. One of my favourite romantic suspense series of all time. Layla Reyne writes amazing characters (and cliffhangers 😉) and I cannot wait for Helena’s and Holt’s books. Guys, if you haven’t started this series, START RIGHT NOW!!!

The Mysterious and Amazing Blue Billings  by Lily Morton

Lily is one of my top five authors and I adore her writing. I love the snark and banter in her books. While I highly recommend all her books, this book is on the top of the list. I love this funny and scary paranormal story! I mean it has ghosts and Lily’s signature humour! What are you waiting for?

Her other books: Best Man , Gideon

Ground Zero  by Aimee Nichole Walker

Aimee is a new to me author and I’m so in love with Royce and Sawyer. This is another romantic suspense story that will span three books. I seriously cannot wait for the next book, where I’ll finally read from Royce’s POV. While it doesn’t end in a cliffhanger, it does leave you with a major book hangover.

Dealing in Death  by L J Hayward

I’m a huge fan of the Death and the Devil series and I was over the moon when I heard that she’s releasing a book from Ethan’s POV. I have no words for this book. This whole series is amazing and I cannot reccomend this enough. The third book is coming out soon and I cannot wait for it!

Heated Rivalry

by Rachel Reid

This book is handsdown one of the best enemies to lovers that I’ve ever read! Words can’t explain how much I love Ilya and Shane. Hockey rivals at its best! Highly recommended!

Tallowwood  by N R Walker

If you haven’t already figured it out by now, romantic suspense is one of my favourite tropes. And the suspense is this is top notch. Kept me on the edge the whole time. A tale of grief and healing. Other books: The Hate You Drink , Galaxies and Oceans

A Crown of Iron and Silver by Hailey Turner

Latest installment in Soulbound series, this book is simply amazing. Patrick and Jono are still having explosive adventures and Wade is the cutest ever. Also the cover art is just gorgeous!! One of the top contenders in urban fantasy!

The Hitman’s Guide to Making Friends and Finding Love  by Alice Winters

Alice Winters is known for her snark and humour and this book made me laugh throughout. Jackson and Leland are crazy together but they somehow make it work. Such a hilarious read. Other books: A Villain for Christmas , The Hitman’s Guide to Staying Alive Despite Past Mistakes , Rushing In

The Prince and His Bedeviled Bodyguard  by Charlie Cochet

Charlie Cochet is one of my favourite authors of all time. This is the first book in a new series containing shifters. It’s funny, sexy and snarky! I highly recommend all her works. Other works: Kept in the darkDiamond in the Rough

Honorable Mentions

A few more because I can’t seem to stop!

This was a year of some really great books! Thank you to all the incredible authors who works so hard. Also huge thanks to all readers who support this blog!
